MNSI responds to Dash review of patient safety across the health and care landscape

Responding to the second part of the independent Dash review of patient safety across the health and care landscape, Sandy Lewis, Director of MNSI, said:

“Following the publication of the 10 year plan, we welcome the Dash review published today.

“The report outlines that MNSI will remain hosted by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and we look forward to working closely with the CQC and with the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) to support NHS trusts to provide the best care possible for mothers, birthing people, and their babies.

"Guided by the development of our three-year strategy, we will continue to evolve and strengthen our programme, supporting improvements in care for mothers, birthing people and their babies."
